Yo EW.
Have you got a UK distro, i'm thinking bookfair (London @), i know it's a long way off but...
Is that two or three titles?
It's three titles, I'll bring up the idea of trying to get some to people interested in Distroing our stuff in the UK. I think it's an awesome idea though.
It's three titles
1. Atamansha
2. Russian Revolution in Ukraine
3. ?
3. Kontrazvedka, We just put it out like two weeks ago, its not on the website yet.
The Makhnovist movement was an attempt by peasants in southeastern Ukraine to create an anarchist society in 1917-1921. This unique social experiment embraced a substantial territory with a population of millions but has been little studied by historians.
In the years of revolution and civil war, the movement was protected from its numerous enemies by a remarkable military force – the Insurgent Army, and by an intelligence service – the Kontrrazvedka. It is the latter institution which is the subject of this study by Vyachleslav Azarov, a contemporary Ukrainian anarchist.
V. Azarov is a marine electrician who lives in Odessa, Ukraine, and has written extensively about the history of Russian and Ukrainian anarchism. “Kontrrazvedka” was first published in Russian in 2007. The English version (90 pages) includes an introduction, glossary, chronological table, full colour map, and photographs.

Hey all, just another plug for this. We at the thoughtcrime ink collective work with Black Cat Press often and closely, and we launched a books section on our site to make it easy for people to order the work and help out Black Cat Press. Just go to http://www.thoughtcrimeink.com/books and there it all is. The money still goes to the same people. There's a bit involved for shipping but...
Is Black Cat Press a wobbly dominated coop as well?
Nope, though some wobs work in it and its publishing projects are entirely anarchist. The print shop itself (which makes its money through other means) is actually with the Communications Energy and Paperworkers union.
I haven't read the book but have to say that I consider this Azarov to be one of the worst "anarchists" going. First, his group is a registered political party which wants to get into power through elections. Azarov is the leader, literally. Not to mention the question of anarcho-capitalism. Of course you need to read Russian to see how terrible it is but they do have this on their page:
http://www.anarcho.net/
The Right Way
Welcome to the site of the right wing of the Anarchist Union of Ukraine, the only registered anarchist political party in the world.
Those of you seeking exposition of the traditional anarcho-capitalist views may visit the official site of the party, http://www.nabat.info. Although rejected by the vast majority of socialists-turned-anarchists for the smell of free market doctrine, such views are too mild for us.
We believe in self-determination of each individual constrained only by Don't do evil injunction. Criminal police and court should enforce this restriction. Beyond that, each person enjoys total liberty in his life, property and freedom of contract.
Many of our supporters profess opinions on various topics ranging from religion to asymmetric warfare, which are way too radical even for our anarchist colleagues. Having joined the party of our free will, we will abide by its rules and carry out the policy it developed for this tactical stage. However, we do feel necessary to make our views public in order to influence the development of the right anarchist doctrine.
There are English and Russian articles on this site. While our staff works on making each piece available in both languages, this daunting task is far from completion and is made still harder by the habit of our authors to continuously amend their works. We believe this is a proper practice, since the facts change, critique of our views evolves, and we have to react to these developments instead of clinging to old declarations. This approach has also led to a number of incomplete articles appearing on this site; those represent work in progress.
Meaningful comments are always welcome. Since we have dealt with extensive volume of the readers' comments over the years, it is likely that your question, if you have one, is already addressed. Please review the articles on the pertinent topics before writing us.
The local law prohibits us as a political party to accept foreign donations, but you can still support our work by placing links to this site. Our strength is not only in ideas, but in the numbers, too.

If anarchists ever think of forming some modern "secret service", I would sincerely suggest some actions to get rid of anarchist politicians, capitalists and other such creatures.
Is Black Cat Press a wobbly dominated coop as well?
Just for the record, we (thoughtcrime ink) aren't a co-op either. The participants are presently all IWW members though.
Is the V. Azarov the same Azarov? I don't think you'd need an (un-anarchist) secret service to "get rid of" "right anarchists." At least if there is even minimal activity by groups who are the real deal in the Ukraine...

hurrah, well done!
