also, i've heard some very cool things about the cunningham amendment (the magazine i mean, not the actual amendment!). where would i get hold of one of these bad boys, given that i won't be at the bookfair? does Freedom stock it?

Thrashing-Chomsky,

Flyers? We produced a few but it's mostly word-of-mouth. And bad planning??? If only you knew the hours we've spent in the bar planning this!

Ffonty, Total Liberty is a non-aligned Anarchist magazine. Been going for about 12 years. Freedom stocks it. Next issue out - I think - this month.

The Cunningham Amendment - originally Anarchism Lancastrium - was formed in 1974. It comes out three times a year and circulates only with the Anarchist movement. Freedom doesn't stock it.

If you let me have an address I'll get copies to you.

Word of mouth is bad planning. About 5000 leaflets would be about right for the size of the area you are dealing with. Plus press releases/pre-hype.

Ease up there.

Flyers aren't the only option. We have distributed flyers - not 5k certainly - but effort and energy has gone into publisising the weekend.

Hopefully, the seminar on Sunday will have on its agenda ways of reaching out to the wide world.

This is also the first Book Fair in the North for three or four years (and suddenly we have two within a couple of weeks!). There are lessons to be learned from each event.

Personally, I have longed believed the North is capable of hosting an annual event that could equal the great London Fair.
