In solidarity with the 24 hour National Stoppage in Colombia.

The strike has called by the trade unions and student movement and is in special support of the Cane Cutters who have been on strike since 15 September, and the indigenous peoples demanding the return of their land.

Indigenous organisations in the South West of Colombia have gathered in a Great [Minga] Gathering of Social and Popular Resistance. They have lifted the blockade of the Pan-American Highway and will on Tuesday 21 start a 3 day march to Cali.
