wasn't me personally, but i'm one of the admins and i agree with it. this is a libertarian communist website, and patronising anti-consumerism will get short shrift. the thread's not locked, so feel free to defend your arguments, and if it isn't a total trainwreck it can always be moved back to a more relevant forum.

This is the Stop Shopping thread, right? I'm confused - it says on libcom.org that there are new posts, and I can click there to reach them. However, the post has been moved from the News forum, and when I click the "This topic has been moved" link it takes me to the bin, and the post isn't there.

Looking at the post (which I opened from the link on new forum posts on the libcom home page), it says it now resides in Theory but when I look at theory it isn't there either.

I've noticed this happening once before too...any idea why?

hmm, it's meant to be in the bin... this looks like a drupal glitch confused will make sure someone looks into it.

afaik it's in the news forum. Might be a caching issue if you were logged in then logged out?

I binned it because it was flame-bait, and had the smell of something which was being re-posted around more than one forum.

News forum link is greyed out and there's a link saying "This post has been moved" that link takes you to the bin but the thread isn't there.
Only way to get to it is through latest posts.

The thread is showing up in libcommunity as having been moved but the link is to news and it isn't there.
It's not in the Latest posts tracker either as far as I can see.
It looks like footstep has edited the post again and renamed it so that might be behind the problem.
