Stress Gum is an innovative gum that provides you with most effective way to calm stressed nerves and promote a sense of well-being naturally.
Do they target this site cause we're stressed? do they? WE'RE NOT STRESSED.

i'm assuming these are all manual spammers since we do have captcha images for registration, seems a very labour-intensive way to spam since they're not staying up long...

There is a way around capthcha images.
I'd quite like to design software to get around them, I reckon it would be quite fun.

wtf are all these drugs? Are they good? Stop banning them i need to know!

3 September, 2008 - 13:15

Xenical

Quote:
The primary side effects of the drug are gastrointestinal-related, and include steatorrhea—that is, oily, loose stools; because orlistat blocks some of the dietary fat from being absorbed, the fat is excreted unchanged in the feces—, fecal incontinence, frequent or urgent bowel movements, and flatulence. GlaxoSmithKline recommends that Alli users be cautious of the possible side effects until they "have a sense of any treatment effects".[11][12] To minimize these effects, foods with high fat content should be avoided; the manufacturer advises consumers to follow a low-fat, reduced-calorie diet. Oily stools and flatulence can be controlled by reducing the dietary fat content to somewhere in the region of 15 grams per meal.

not going to replace cocaine any time soon then.

PS - if you don't want to shit urself then you need to go on a low fat diet. If you are on a low fat diet then you've probably made taking this drug refuckingdundant. So basically, xenical is a voluntary blackmail device for fatties - "put the pie down or you'll cack yourself".

captcha is easy enough to get around now, plenty of programmes and script kiddies staying one step ahead on that front.

Would it be feasible to make it so if new users had to be approved before they can post/have a publically viewable profile?

6 September, 2008 - 12:41

I made e-mail verfication necessary. If that doesn't work, someone go to admin/user/settings and switch on "administrator approval" of new accounts. That's shit though.

6 September, 2008 - 14:40

Most of these spammers seem to be coming from the same place - they all have the same format username. Can we block their IP?

6 September, 2008 - 15:40

You can also check what user-agent they are using and block that. Clever spam-robots will give a fake user-agent though and pretend to be regular Firefox or IE users, so this doesn't always work.

9 September, 2008 - 19:11

Wonder how they are getting through that captcha.

9 September, 2008 - 19:23

captcha is completely useless nowadays, pretty much.
