A certain Michael Forbes, who happens to be the Irish ambassador to Israel, is going to lecture:

I figured it would be a propitious occasion in which to confront him with some opposing class analysis, which may well not be the kind of criticism he would expect, and would hopefully embarrass his Leninist/Social Democratic hosts.

So, anyone have specific contemporary suggestions to bring up? I'll probably peruse the news sections later, see what I can dig up, etc.

Or I might just not bother, as I might have better things to do on Friday noontimes.

Yeah. I mean, look at how they totally proled the fuck out of Lisbon. Seems like their national character just has a disaffinity with capitalism.

(PS: I eventually couldn't be arsed to make it to that thing. Just for the record.)
