What a freakout! Freighnt guessed it 100%. Did you have an informer? David? wink

Heres the story;

LW flew out to montany and I picked her up to show her around. Chemistry between us was great and I totally fell for her and all that. smile After an evening of soaking in a hot-spring with some good country music (she may or may not agree on the music!) we drove to Butte and stayed at a Super 8 were I asked LW bout gettin' hitched, and thankfully I got a yes back! We spent the rest of her time in the states tooling around the highways, holding hands, and otherwise enjoying our newfound love.

In short I'm flying out to London to live with my deary as quickly as money can be procured with the idea that eventually we'll return to my mountain kingdom and get married at the foot of a waterfall.

Well, thats the exciting news for all the clucking little hens of libcom! wink I'm excited to get out to London soon and to meet some of you characters!

I knew you would be conflicted which is why i v. nearly pmed you in advance of the thread. Plus i wanted to pm ya anyways as you are so nice! tongue

You will see me at the Bookfair but there is no way Boze will be over that early - cos of money of course - ker-ching!
When he is here i will sort out a celebration for him tho and he will be at next Bookfair for sure. But you will be able to meet my good friend Skraeling (another poster) who will be over from NZ and is looking forward to taking me out to celebrate.

It's fixed then smile - I'm going to get a room up in the smoke so I can stay up and go out with people after the bookfair (It's going to be my holiday this year) so if anyone else wants to meet up that'll be cool.

25 September, 2008 - 15:16

Awesome -no worries i have had pms and shit from others who wanna meet for drinks, so summat will be sorted out and i will post/pm.

There is crash space at the Lair if you want but sadly the spare bed has been taken. The rule is the farthest flung friend gets the bed. Two years ago, it was a Liverpudlian, last year a Glaswegian, this year a New Zealander. That just leaves a Martian for next year. tongue

(Btw you can at least see photos of my intended/Montana. cool )

Sweet - thanks for the offer, but I like bouncing on hotel beds and being irresponsible like that. Looking forward to the pics!

25 September, 2008 - 21:35

25 September, 2008 - 21:39

don't be so daft revrugger wink

25 September, 2008 - 21:42

25 September, 2008 - 22:12

a month is fine too

26 September, 2008 - 00:27

Jaysus what a load of gossipy old women. wink

Revrug it is possible to fuck around for a year or two AND marry y'know. The two are not mutally exclusive necessarily. wink

Tho having just seen the prog about the Purity "movement" (urgh) (as seen in a TV Guide on a site page near you tongue ) if i were not engaged i would feel like running around shagging randoms as compensation for the appalling sexual "protectiveness" of the featured fathers. (referring to their daughters virginity as their "territory". Urgh) Not that that would do any good at all but... wink

Jason you doofus you have congratulated me already on the phone; it is too late for fiscal/emotional blackmail now. wink

Hey, congratulations. Now that libcommunity is off the main tracker, I miss things by days at a time, possibly more (which is probably the point). Anyway, enjoy yourselves, and have an easy time adjusting to English sensibilities, bozeman.

English sensibilities

Popping caps in people's asses is generally considered poor form, as is the use of the word 'quaint' in an american accent.

27 September, 2008 - 16:01

Ha ha as a thoughtful fiance, i have the adjustment thing in mind. I discovered an ace "Yankees in the UK" site which i told Boze about and he is registered on. It is all about how Yanks here in the UK can cope with our weather, food etc and also other stuff about visas. I just now need to find a "UK in Yankland" site for when the reserve is true. smile

Montana is beautiful but weird!! Everyone has guns, there are nowt but casinos everywhere...i used to shoot a bit at targets when younger... have to get in practice again when i am over there. cool

Cheers toj. I expect occasional libcommunity folk will drop in from t to t on this page and will see our good news which is sweet.
