At a loss of something to do on these balmy summer days?

Why not visit one of the most slagged-off city in Britain - Bradford!

In particular the 1in12 Club. Run by an Anarchist collective for over 25 years it has four floors of a converted warehouse.

The Albert Meltzer library has recently received the private library of the late Harry Sculthorpe. It is now the largest Anarchist library in the UK.

There's a cafe, a bar with real ales and attractive bar staff. There are also frequent gigs and other events.

Dammit!

I had meant to restrict the invitation to nice people only.

None of you London types with your half lagers and latte coffees.

Meself I prefer pies to curry and I've never held a half pint glass in my hand.

I'm going a gig there on Monday which has unfortunately been tacked onto the end of this weekends "punx picnic". I'm going home at the first sign of a dreadlocked crusty.
