oops embarrassed

this board is quite quiet... not sure off the top of my head of recent national activity, but our brighton local's just got a couple of new members, plus another interested prospective one.

Always good to know, for those a/s outside of the IWA, what our British comrades are doing.

Anyway, if there are solidarity campaigns that WSA can be helpful with, just let us know.

this reminds me! Syndicalist, check your pms, just sent you a report that was written for the latest Catalyst (but sadly cut due to space reasons) of the NSSN conference.

Is this going to be publised in DA? Or indeed elsewhere? i hate to think of all your hard work going to waste.

Are you up for the bookfair?? Or would you rather not say on a public forum, in case you become the fall back option for someone's pent up aggression.

Dear Bob,

The following resolution was passed at our Branch Meeitng of 7th October 2008

"LU Engineering Branch believes that in light of Metronet's continuing out and out victimisation of RMT Rep Andy Littlechild, that strike action comprising of 48 hours strike action be set to start on the first day possible after the balloting period; Wednesday 22nd October 08. We believe that this is the only way to fight the outrageous behaviour by Metronet who now seem hell bent on sacking Andy and are currently trying to rush his disciplinary through without giving him the opportunity to gather evidence for his defence, obtain adequate representation, conclude a grievance that is key to his case or even let him speak to any witnesses"
