The 20th July marks Colombia’s National Independence Day. In accordance with the on going war waged by the Colombian state and corporations against trade unionists and human rights North East London Solidarity Federation is calling for a picket and protest to recognise the ‘Life and Dignity of Colombian Workers’.
Colombia remains one of the most oppressive states in the world, where sanctioned violence is a daily reality. Colombians need our sympathy and solidarity to challenge their predicament. We would ask you to join us outside the Colombian Embassy in London (Hans Crescent, near the Knightbridge tube) on Friday 18th July 11am-12 noon to highlight their plight.
