I'm moving down to Goldsmiths in September to do a Masters and i was interested in getting back into the swing of things. Are there any groups around the area that might be worth looking at? I realise this a pretty short post, and probably been asked before, so if it has a link to that would be sorted as well.

South London Solidarity Federation has a member at Goldsmiths and meets nearby in Deptford.

I'm sure one of them will be along to give you details as I can't remember the group email right now.

I know David Graeber is there now, in the Anthropology department, and he did a lot of IWW stuff when he was in America, so i'm hoping that theres something from that to be honest. Why lol conor?

Hi there Matt, there is a local of the Solidarity Federation which meets in nearby Deptford. Link here. We have been on a break over August but will be meeting regularly again in Sept. I will pm you details if you want (i don't know excactly when yet)? As the for the IWW, the london wobs meet at Freedom on the first Weds of the month more details, it used to a short tube ride but the east london line is being extended, so is shut for next few years. So it is a bit of a pain by public transport but easy by bike. Hope to meet up with you in the autumn.

Hi Matt, we will be having a London Solidarity Federation Social (these will be monthly on the first Thursday of the month expect Jan) with members from both London locals and friends and comrades. It would be great to see you there. Next one Thursday 2nd Oct at the Rose and Crown, 47 Colombo St SE1 near Waterloo after 7.30pm. There will copies of Direct Action on the table or some such, so you will know eho we are if in doubt Ring 07956446162 and i give you a wave. Everyone else is welcome to come.
