Hi folks,

I'll be running a workshop/discussion on mental illness and community support at LARC (62 Fieldgate St, Whitechapel) this Thursday (17th July) from 7pm.

Don't really have a blurb to put up here or anything, but it should be interesting so hope to see some of you folks there smile

Would be interested, but thursday is the worse day of the week, lots of activist meetings on this day sad

Pity...sorry, was the best day to do it in terms of when I'm in London etc...

didn't you not wanna have a meet up all of ur own? I didn't fancy this event much, but you have come from new zealand, we'd have bought you a drink or two.

I'm also gonna be doing a talk (with an Australian anarchist) on Monday (venue TBC tomorrow) on anarchism & indigenous struggle in NZ and Aus, focusing on the "terrorism" raids in NZ and the Northern Territory invasion in Aus. Will post details on here once confirmed.

There was a suggestion (by LW) of maybe having drinks this Friday night. Am keen to meet up with some Libcom crew, if not then, maybe Mon or Tues night next week (I leave Weds).

don't really understand what this event is. is it worth coming up from brighton for?

16 July, 2008 - 21:15

It's a workshop and some discussion around supporting people with mental illness and how that might be done. Any more questions, feel free to post in here / PM me. As to whether or not its worth coming up, I dunno, depends on how interested you are in the topic I guess.

Hmm I want to go, and probably will. See you there hopefully.
