NEW SECRETARY
- P resigned due to need to focus on his dissertation
- Job will be split between R and K
- R will be responsible for checking email, agenda, minutes, etc
- K will be responsible for answering phone (see AOB) and for sending out the
pre-meeting texts

BLACK STAR
- D to go to Cs sometime this week to sort out software handover
- proposed that #5 be finished in time for distribution at WM Red gig (Sept
10th)
- articles = D on Lebanon, A on Climate Camp, What Anarchists Think: Terrorism
(Underdog), Paragraph on HP, Paragraph on Starbucks/IWW, P on Cottage

SOCIAL CENTRE

Update:
- court case adhourned for 2 weeks
- auction stooped and 'evaluation' procedures begun
- R to attend public meeting this Tuesday (29th Aug), K to attend meeting on
Sept 5th
- Agreed that we support a survey of the nearby community to truly find out
their opinions re Cottage, also that we advocate deciding upon specific
conditions for any handover of control.
- R to send email report of meeting round on list.

Solfed Workshops:
- postponed due to lack of confirmed attendees
- R to contact people over Solfed list, aiming for late September

DISCUSSION
- proposal that these be planned further in advance
- proposal that members take it in turns to introduce debates
- A to introduce discussion at next meeting on Climate Camp, environmentalism,
etc
- wider issues postponed till next meeting as time was running short

AOB

WMA PHONE
- proposed that we get a designated WMA phone to put contact number of Black
Star, leaflets, etc
- Approved, K mandated to buy phone.
