Comrades of the West Midlands Anarchist group,

the Midlands Discussion Forum is holding a meeting at the Friends of the Earth building in Digbeth on Saturday 6th October at 1.30.

Some people formerly involved with WMA along with others in the area have recently produced a new leaflet which has been distributed around the brum area in the last couple of weeks.

In Hereford there suddenly appears to be a BNP presence, although we are tracking them we need more help to combat their racial hatred and quasi-democratic tones. If anyone has any info as to other wards where they are standing or want to help then please contact me.

The aim of the meeting is to make contact with other wobs and sympathisers and establish the West Midlands General Membership Branch.

well its been a while, i reckon there should be a meeting to determine what exactly is going on with the group. is it worth the effort continuing? are there any actions on the table, or do we continue as a discussion group?
what is the future for wma?

There'll be an informal IWW meeting this Wednesday 24 January at 7.00pm in the Crown pub, Corporation Street, Birmingham B4 (near the Magistrates Court). The purpose of this is to hopefully set up a West Midlands IWW group.

No one is checking WMA emails anymore, if you did you would know you have interested people. you got two people asking to come to your next meeting. What is going on?

-Theres the UAF conference on the 7th, are we going to send a delegate or two to take one for the team and see what the institutional anti-fascist left are saying/maybe hand out some class struggle anti-fascism leaflets/try and entice some people away from the UAF way of doing things etc?

Right im doing one thursday up to manchester. Hopefully some of you will be coming up on the 23rd to join the bloc called by the AF and SF.

NEW SECRETARY
- P resigned due to need to focus on his dissertation
- Job will be split between R and K
- R will be responsible for checking email, agenda, minutes, etc
- K will be responsible for answering phone (see AOB) and for sending out the
pre-meeting texts
